Here. is a public art project. Here. fosters grass roots creativity and the indiscriminant coming together of people in independent, local coffee shops. The project offers art supplies and blank journals, to participating coffee shops, as a semi-public/semi-private place for people to create with no limits in content or approach. Currently there are 7 small coffee shops involved in Here.. They are generating and celebrating the unpretentious, spontaneous, creative act as expressed in a community space. Here. books have become a physical document of a moment in time and space in the creative life of each of the shops.
