Habits and choices are carefully uncovered.  With the therapist support, clients practice new ways thinking, moving, and being, at their own tempo.  The post  bariatric surgery client can rely on consistent support as they adjust to life in a changing body.  Initial sessions are in person. oving Mediations

Just throw away all thoughts of imaginary things
and stand firm in that which you are.
- Kabir

Moving Mediation work culminate in the creation of a simple movement sequence, unique to the client, for use in stressful moments.  During a set of individual sessions the client uncovers strengthens, comfort zones and internal resources. Movement patterns that reduce stress, build confidence, release anxiety, or create a sense of power or peace, drawn from many movement traditions are explored.  Adding these qualities with the client’s personal movement preferences a short, recuperate sequence is built. This sequence can be taken anywhere and used anytime to return to balance. Clients uncover hidden skills, learn the art of self advocacy, develope inner calm and discover new ways to integrate and recuperate.
